Micro Needling — also known as Dermapen— is a collagen induction therapy, a treatment that is designed to promote skin rejuvenation.

Needles are used to create small punctures on the top layer of the skin which would cause the body to create new collagen and elastin.

To be exact, the tool uses 11 super-tiny needles in the very tip, which can be adjusted by your professional between 0.5 and 2.5 millimeters. The smallest setting — 0.5 millimeters — penetrates the stratum cornea, or the superficial layer of skin.

Your body treats a small wound the same way as a large wound, and sends fibroblasts to create more collagen in the affected area. We are basically tricking your skin into thinking it has been wounded, but as a result, we’re thickening the skin and improving the texture with this procedure.

The treatment can also help reduce pore size and heal acne scars.

SmoothLase™  & LipLase™ use the photothermal capabilities of the LightWalker Laser to convert and initiate the formation of new and more elastic collagen. The proprietary “Smooth Mode” pulse characteristics create a non-ablative heat generation or “Heat Shock” that initiates the conversion of existing collagen to more elastic and organized forms and also initiates “neocollagenesis”  – the creation of new collagen. The LightWalker handpiece is inserted intraorally with no direct contact to the walls of the mouth. The laser light emits pulses of laser light to the surface of the oral cavity without damage to the tissues. Treating the entire oral cavity can result in the tightening and lifting of the nasolabial folds, mouth, and cheeks. In LipLase™, the laser delivers targeted heat pulses into the mucosa of the lips to stimulate new collagen formation resulting in fuller, more defined and enhanced lips.

Laser skin resurfacing is a simple 3 step procedure optimized to significantly improve skin smoothness to give it a fresher, healther look. It is a gentle option for treating fine lines and wrinkles with minimal downtime and the clean, natural results similar to SmoothLase™ & LipLase™. In steps 1 & 2 the laser beam is passed along the surface of the skin twice to stimulate and penetrate the tissue. In step 3 old, worn out skin is ablated away and will be replaced with new, tighter and healthy tissue as new skin forms. This minimally invasive treatment is suitable for all types and tones.
